Oklahoma Scrapbooking Retreat

On June 24th Monica and I started our road trip with our friend, Anne Marie and her children, William and Mia. We met her at 6am and were on our way to Oklahoma for our vacation. We followed her on the way down to her home state of Oklahoma. Anne Marie and her children were moving back to where she grew up, to be closer to her family and friends.

We stopped at the Archivers in Des Moines and Kansas City to check them out and see the difference from our Archivers here in Minnesota. We had lunch at Sonic in Kansas City. It was a fun trip. Then we stopped for the night in Nevada MO. at a Super 8.

Then on Friday we started back on our merry way. We went Pryor OK to drop off William and Mia with Anne Marie's mother. Then on to the retreat house - Scrappin Pad in Tahlequah, OK. We met some of Anne Marie's high school friends there.

In the afternoon, Monica and Anne Marie went into Tulsa to pick up our other friend, Joanna, who flew in for the weekend.

We had a great time scrapbooking and I was making cards. We stayed up until 3am most nights and slept in. We also went into Tulsa for awhile on Saturday afternoon.
It was so much fun hanging out and being creative. We were having such a good time we hated to leave on Monday to go home. We miss Anne Marie already.

It is wonderful to have good friends to hang out with and have fun with!

Scrapmania

I am excited for this weekend Monica and I are spending the weekend scrapbooking with
our good friends Joanna and Melissa. We are going to be at Archivers Scrapmania on
Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I really enjoy spending this time with friends and thinking of nothing but relaxing days of scrapbooking.

I have been reading an excellent book by Diana Gabaldon. Echo in the Bone is the 4th
book in the Outlander Series. This series is fun of history, adventure and love, with
a little sci fi. I love highlander characters.

Back Home

Home at last. I stopped in Ames, Iowa last night and started out again this morning.
Tonight I'm going to ScrapMania with some friends to do some scrapbooking.
Dogs were really glad to see me!!!!

Minnesota

On my way back to Minnesota tomorrow. So sad to leave the grandkids but will be glad to be home with Monica and the dogs.

Colorado

I'm still having fun with my grandchildren until Thursday. I'm alittle frustrated because there is no sd car in my camera! YIKS I guess I will have to make a trip into town to get one.

I Love to visit Colorado

I Love to visit my grandkids in Colorado. I am here at the moment. I get lots of hugs and kisses when visiting and also love to spend time with Dale and Debra. My daughter-in-law is so awesome. She is very good to me and invites me to come visit alot. I am here for a few more days and then I have to return home to my niece, Monica and my dogs, Gizmo, Buffy and Whiskers.
