Scrapbooked for the very last time in Scrap Mania at Archivers on Friday, Feb 14th. My Valentines gift to myself... It was so sad to think I would never be able to do that again. Archivers closing was so very sad for me and my friends. I loved going there and the people that worked there were so wonderful and friendly.
It was so nice to go in and have them know me by name... Archivers in Maple Grove, MN. Goodbye ...................:-(

Christmas in Colorado
I drove to Colorado for Christmas with my family. It was fun to spend Christmas with the grandkids. They are so very much fun to be around. I Love them so very much and can hardly wait to see them again.
I listened to books on my long drive to and from Colorado from Minneapolis. The books were Bullet by Laurell K. Hamilton which was an Anita Blake series book. I really enjoy this series of books about Anita Blake, who is involved with Vampires, werewolves and many other were creatures. The books are full of action, suspense and along with a series of books as she changes and progresses through many new adventures. On the way home I listened to Dark Peril by Christine Feehan. This series of books is on Carpathians, they have the traits of Vampires, but do not kill humans. In fact they spend their life destroying the vampires. The books are full of adventure, actions and romance. Christine Feehan also has two other series. One is Ghosthunters which is a series about an elite group of guys trained as
soldiers with unique abilities. They were betrayed and are now gathering together to
protect themselves and others (women who the doctor experimented on) from the evil doctor who experimented on them. The other series is on the Drake Sisters series, about 5 sisters with supernatural abilities. Series is full of intrigue and romance.

Oklahoma Scrapbooking Retreat
On June 24th Monica and I started our road trip with our friend, Anne Marie and her children, William and Mia. We met her at 6am and were on our way to Oklahoma for our vacation. We followed her on the way down to her home state of Oklahoma. Anne Marie and her children were moving back to where she grew up, to be closer to her family and friends.
We stopped at the Archivers in Des Moines and Kansas City to check them out and see the difference from our Archivers here in Minnesota. We had lunch at Sonic in Kansas City. It was a fun trip. Then we stopped for the night in Nevada MO. at a Super 8.
Then on Friday we started back on our merry way. We went Pryor OK to drop off William and Mia with Anne Marie's mother. Then on to the retreat house - Scrappin Pad in Tahlequah, OK. We met some of Anne Marie's high school friends there.
In the afternoon, Monica and Anne Marie went into Tulsa to pick up our other friend, Joanna, who flew in for the weekend.
We had a great time scrapbooking and I was making cards. We stayed up until 3am most nights and slept in. We also went into Tulsa for awhile on Saturday afternoon.
It was so much fun hanging out and being creative. We were having such a good time we hated to leave on Monday to go home. We miss Anne Marie already.
It is wonderful to have good friends to hang out with and have fun with!

Scrapmania
I am excited for this weekend Monica and I are spending the weekend scrapbooking with
our good friends Joanna and Melissa. We are going to be at Archivers Scrapmania on
Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I really enjoy spending this time with friends and thinking of nothing but relaxing days of scrapbooking.
I have been reading an excellent book by Diana Gabaldon. Echo in the Bone is the 4th
book in the Outlander Series. This series is fun of history, adventure and love, with
a little sci fi. I love highlander characters.
